"One of our AC units wasn't working properly and Rudy came out the same day and provided excellent service. He not only fixed the one AC unit, he also serviced our second unit. Both are now working great."

24-point AC check by a licensed tech
Membership plan with priority scheduling
No pushy sales, just a real report
Filter checks and honest tips included
A tune-up that's actually a tune-up.
A lot of $49 tune-ups out there are basically a sales visit dressed up as service. Ours are a real inspection, cleaned coils, and a written report you can hand to your spouse without an eye-roll.
We measure refrigerant charge, capacitor microfarads, contactor pull, temperature split, and airflow. Not a five-minute rinse and go.
Real 24-point checklist
We measure refrigerant charge, capacitor microfarads, contactor pull, temperature split, and airflow. Not a five-minute rinse and go.
Coils actually get cleaned
Outdoor condenser coil rinsed top to bottom to strip out valley dust and grass clippings. Cleaner coils mean lower bills, plain and simple.
Twice-a-year membership plan
Spring AC tune-up plus a fall heat check. Priority scheduling in July when everyone else is calling, and a discount on any repair we do find.
Flat $88 for new customers
One price for the full tune-up. If we find something wrong, we quote it flat too. No hourly meter, no gotcha add-ons on the invoice.
Report you can read
Photos of what we found, the actual readings, and a clear list of anything you'll want to keep an eye on. No mystery, no scare tactics.
In and out on time
A tune-up runs about an hour. We give you a real two-hour window instead of an all-day 'sometime today' and we call before we roll up.
What the San Jacinto ValleySays About Us.
"One of our AC units wasn't working properly and Rudy came out the same day and provided excellent service. He not only fixed the one AC unit, he also serviced our second unit. Both are now working great."
"Rudy was very professional and thorough in his explanation of the repairs. I joined the service club gold member. When Rudy was finished, my air conditioning works good as new. Excellent service."
"Professional, honest and friendly. I'd already tried 3 different AC companies and felt I was getting ripped off every time. Legendary Air has already replaced my AC and furnace unit. My family is very happy."
"I called Legendary Air and they came out the same day and saved me and my family. They did such a great job and were very knowledgeable. I will be saving them for future repairs."
"Rudy came out during an emergency. The AC went down and it was 89 inside the house. Without hesitation Rudy came out, figured out the issue quick, and repaired it even faster. Definitely gonna be my go to."
"I don't usually leave reviews but I received some of the best customer service in a long time. My AC was over 25 years old and Legendary Air got me approved for a brand new unit for less than 100 a month."
What a Real Spring Tune-Up Looks Like
April and May are the sweet spot for ac maintenance in Hemet. The mornings are still mild, techs aren't running ragged, and there's time to fix small stuff before the first 105° week rolls through. Once June hits, every phone in town is ringing with breakdowns, and preventive work gets pushed to the back of the line.
When we roll up for a tune-up, the first thing we do is hook up refrigerant gauges and check pressures against the outdoor temperature. That one reading alone tells us whether the system is charged right, low on refrigerant from a slow leak, or overcharged from a previous rushed service call. It's amazing how many Hemet homes are running on wrong charge and nobody's ever caught it.
Next comes the electrical side. We test the run capacitor and start capacitor with an actual meter, not a shake test. A capacitor that reads 8% below its rated microfarads still runs, but it's coasting toward failure. We'll show you the number and let you decide whether to swap it now while the panel is already open or roll the dice on it lasting the summer. Same story for the contactor: pitted contacts don't fail today, they fail on the hottest afternoon in August.
Then we clean the outdoor condenser coil. This is the step most $49 tune-ups skip because it takes real time. Hemet homes especially in San Jacinto and Menifee pull in a ton of grass clippings, cottonwood fluff, and dust from all directions. A packed coil can knock 15% off your system's efficiency, which shows up as a fatter power bill you can't quite explain. A ten-minute rinse fixes it.
Inside the house we pull the blower door, check the coil for buildup, clear the condensate drain, and confirm airflow at a few vents. Clogged condensate lines are a big one. They trip the safety switch and shut the whole system down, usually at 4pm on a Saturday. A quick vacuum and a shot of tablet-form condensate treatment stops that story before it starts.
Legendary Air runs a membership plan for folks who want this handled without having to remember. Twice a year we come out, once in spring for the AC and once in fall for the heat, plus you get priority scheduling and a discount on any repair. Whether you're in Hemet, San Jacinto, Murrieta, or up in Beaumont, an ac tune-up in April is still the cheapest insurance policy you can buy against a July breakdown.
