Why Choose Us

Installed clean. Set up right.

A new thermostat sounds like a 10-minute box swap. Sometimes it is. Other times, an old Hemet house needs a C-wire pulled, a compatibility fix, or a stat that actually works with a heat pump. We handle all of it in one visit.

Nest, Ecobee, Honeywell T-Series, Sensi. We've installed them all and know the quirks each one has with the older heat pumps and dual-fuel systems out here.

"I am very happy and satisfied with Mr. Rudy, the owner of the company. He doesn't act like an owner, he just works hard and tries to find the problem to solve. He's not greedy at all. Call him for your AC and heating."

Hemet Thermostat Guide

Picking a Thermostat That Fits Your Home

Thermostat replacement in Hemet sounds like a five-minute job until you pop the old one off the wall and there's a rat's nest of five wires that don't match any of the labels on the new one. That's usually when folks call us. It's also where a decent chunk of homeowners have accidentally shorted out a transformer trying to DIY it. Same thing happens over in San Jacinto homes.

The first question we always ask: what kind of system do you have? A basic gas furnace with a single-stage AC is happy with almost any thermostat on the shelf at the hardware store. But a lot of homes in San Jacinto and up in Valle Vista run heat pumps, and heat pumps need a stat that can handle emergency heat and reversing valve wiring. Put a generic thermostat on a heat pump and you can end up with a system that runs backwards or burns through electricity in resistance mode all winter.

The second big one is the C-wire. Smart thermostats have screens and Wi-Fi radios, so they need constant low-voltage power. Older Hemet homes built in the 70s and 80s often don't have a C-wire pulled from the furnace to the thermostat, and that's the number one reason a DIY Nest install ends up in a loop of "low battery" errors. We handle that either by pulling a proper C-wire or installing an add-a-wire adapter at the air handler. Either way, it's clean and it lasts.

Thermostat Questions

Things Homeowners Ask Us

A straight swap usually runs about 30 to 45 minutes. If we need to pull a C-wire or fish new low-voltage cable, plan on closer to an hour and a half. Either way, we get it done in one visit.
