Air Duct Replacement in Hemet & San Jacinto
Proper duct sizing for each room
Insulated runs & sealed connections
Before & after airflow testing
Better cooling & lower energy bills
Licensed & insured (CA #1116121)
We fix the air's path.
Crushed, sagging, or disconnected ducts waste cooled air in your attic before it ever reaches your bedroom. We replace the damaged runs with properly sized, insulated ductwork so every room gets the airflow it was supposed to have.
We measure airflow at every vent before we touch anything. That tells us which ducts are undersized, disconnected, or crushed so we fix the right runs, not the convenient ones.
Room-by-room airflow testing
We measure airflow at every vent before we touch anything. That tells us which ducts are undersized, disconnected, or crushed so we fix the right runs, not the convenient ones.
Proper duct sizing
We size each replacement run for the actual CFM that room needs. A bedroom with west-facing windows needs more airflow than an interior bathroom, and we build the duct accordingly.
Insulated & sealed connections
We use insulated flex duct in attics and seal every connection with mastic, not tape that falls off in a hot attic. Less thermal loss, less leakage, more air where you want it.
Flat, itemized quotes
You see every run, every connection, and every material before work starts. No open-ended hourly billing that balloons once we're in the attic.
Most jobs done in one day
A typical single-story duct replacement takes one day. Two-story homes or jobs needing access through multiple attic hatches can take two. We give you a real timeline upfront.
After-install airflow check
We test every vent again after the new ducts are in. You get the numbers showing improved airflow, and we don't leave until every room is within spec.

When Repairing Your Ducts Is Not Enough
There's a difference between ducts that need a good cleaning and ducts that need to be torn out and replaced. If you've got a room that never cools, a utility bill that keeps climbing even though the AC runs non-stop, or an attic full of ductwork that looks like it was installed during the Reagan administration, air duct replacement in Hemet might be the fix that actually moves the needle.
The most common problem we see in older Hemet homes is crushed or disconnected flexible duct. The original installers ran flex duct across the attic trusses, and over thirty years of 140-degree summer days, the insulation wrapper sags, the inner liner collapses, and the whole run ends up pinched between a truss and a storage board somebody laid up there ten years ago. When a duct is crushed, the air can't get through. Your blower motor works harder, your electric bill goes up, and the bedroom at the end of that run gets whatever scraps of airflow make it past the pinch point.
Disconnected ducts are just as bad and more common than you'd think. A duct run that pulled loose from the main trunk line is now dumping all your cooled air straight into the attic. We've found disconnected returns in homes where the family had been cooling their attic for two years without knowing it. The house never got comfortable, the AC ran all day, and the fix was a thirty-minute reconnection with proper mastic sealant.
Uninsulated or poorly insulated ductwork is another big issue in this part of Riverside County. Our attics get brutally hot, and if the duct wrap has degraded or was never thick enough to start with, the 55-degree air inside the duct warms up to 75 degrees before it ever hits your vent. That's not a duct problem you can clean away. The fix is replacing the old runs with properly insulated flex duct rated for the temperature swings we see out here.
When we quote a duct replacement, we start with an airflow test at every vent and return. That tells us exactly which runs are undersized, damaged, or disconnected. We don't replace the whole system unless the whole system is bad. A lot of Hemet homes only need two or three runs swapped out, a few reconnections sealed properly, and the main trunk line patched where it's leaking. We quote by the run, not by the square foot, so you only pay for what actually needs fixing.
The materials we use are rated for the heat. Insulated flex duct with a vapor barrier that won't degrade in a 140-degree attic. Mastic sealant at every connection because tape fails in that environment. Metal collars and supports so the new runs don't sag across the trusses the way the old ones did. And after everything is in, we test every vent again and give you the before-and-after airflow numbers so you can see the improvement in real data.
New ductwork won't make a broken AC work better, but if your unit is fine and your house still won't cool evenly, the ducts are the most likely culprit. Legendary Air has replaced ductwork in homes all across Hemet, San Jacinto, Menifee, and the surrounding valley. If you're tired of one room being a sauna while the rest of the house freezes, give us a call and we'll test the airflow. The numbers usually tell the story pretty fast.
